[Creative Writing] Blue

Dear ____,

After exploring all suitable Pantone colours, I heard that you are still searching for a different blue.

I understand, for I too once searched for such blue.

I was thinking of him again.

His eyes were as blue as those Pantone colours that don’t exist.

His eyes were as blue as the feathers on a dragon’s tail.

His eyes were as blue as the idea of a blue rose.

His eyes were as blue as a poisonous frog.

His eyes were as blue as whale songs.

His eyes were as blue as a dress I couldn’t afford,

and a mistake I’m about to make.

I propose using a silver foil instead.
